Managing Partner, Investment and Organizational Development
Dr. Shula Recanati is a Managing Partner and leads the organizational development support for GlenRock’s portfolio companies.
Shula has over 20 years of experience as an organizational development expert, specializing in high-tech and startup companies. Before joining GlenRock, Shula headed Organizational Development Services for Pitango Venture Capital, where she helped portfolio companies build the right organizational infrastructure and management team so essential to success.
From 1987 to 2001, Shula worked as an independent consultant in Israel, focusing on organizational assessment, organizational culture, change management, conflict resolution, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, team building and management development. Her career also includes five years as an Internal Organizational Development Consultant for Citicorp in New York, as well as projects with NASA.
Shula holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Tel Aviv University (Magna Cum laude), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Cum laude).
Shula is deeply involved in community activities, and is Chairperson of the Board of the College For All foundation, whose mission is to enable talented children from underprivileged backgrounds to reach their maximum potential, complete their high school education with excellence, and become contributing members of society.
